Special probe Type «E» is a replaceable probe for Leeb Hardness tester TKM-359CE.

Probe with indenter made of polycrystalline of boron nitride intended for control of materials with high hardness.

Requirements to controlled item:

• Items heavier than 3 kg and thicker than 6 mm need no additional preparation;
• Items with a thickness of less than 6 mm should be fixed in a vice clamp or on a support plate by fi xing paste.
• Roughness of controlled surface providing best measurement accuracy is 3.2 RA.
